Comprehensive Eye Exam

Our comprehensive eye exams include a refraction, glasses prescription, and anterior/posterior segment ocular health assessment. We see all patients ages 7 and up. Our office is equipped with the latest technology to aid in making this a stress free experience for our patients. This includes but is not limited to: an automatic phoropter which will provide you with the most precise glasses prescription possible, and an Optomap retinal imaging camera which will give 360 view of your retina, often bypassing the need for dilation drops.

Our doctors offer both simple and complex contact lens evaluations. They have extensive experience with soft lenses, including astigmatic/ toric fits. They are also skilled in multifocal and monovision fits for patient’s who desire to see both distance and near clearly and comfortably. In addition, our doctor’s are experienced and trained to fit gas permeable lenses. Not only will they help correct your vision with contacts – if you are a first time wearer, they will also train you on how to insert and remove them in the office. Our doctors are patient and willing to work tirelessly to help you achieve your best vision with contacts.

Dry eye disease is becoming increasingly common, affecting millions of people worldwide. If you live with dry eye syndrome, you know it can be a chronic burden. Symptoms like burning, tearing, redness, foreign body sensation, and even pain can interfere with your daily life. Our offices are equipped with anterior segment cameras that image the front surface of the eyes and eyelids, allowing us to show our patient’s the signs of dry eye disease.

Often, traditional treatments are geared toward reducing the symptoms rather than treating the underlying cause. At QC Eye, our doctor’s know that treating the underlying cause is the only way to reduce their patient’s symptoms. Using a holistic approach, including lifestyle modifications and in office treatments, can many times eliminate the need for over the counter and prescription medications. By assessing both signs and symptoms of dry eye syndrome, unique to each patient, our doctor’s can curate an individualized dry eye treatment plan for each patient.
